U. of Twente Scholarship for M.Sc. Study in the Netherlands

The University of Twente, in the Netherlands, offers the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) to exceptional non-European international students applying for a graduate programme (M.Sc.) at the university. The scholarship is open to high-achieving students from all countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EU/EEA).

Around 50 scholarships are available, with amounts ranging from 3,000 to 22,000 euros for one academic year. Students enrolled in two-year programmes may receive an additional scholarship of the same amount as the first year to assist with expenses in their second year. This scholarship is meant to help cover study-related costs. It is up to the scholarship student to decide how to spend the money. No costs (e.g. tuition fees) will be paid on their behalf.

Applicants must first secure an offer of admission to an eligible M.Sc. programme at the University of Twente before applying for the scholarship. Please note that the University Twente Scholarship is not applicable to master’s programmes at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC).
